Don't let the ideas of anorexic media people put you off
seeing the world. Fat women are everywhere and in some places,
like Hawaii and Africa, they love us. This column will address
the special issues that effect fat travelers in a thin world
Overweight people find airplane seats too small. Even some
of my smaller friends find the seats cramped.
I have just come from Cairns, Australia, home of the Great
Barrier Reef and some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving
in the world. Was I going to let the thought that people will
see me in a bathing suit stop me.
